Bismarck II - Maschine die uns schickt der Himmel

Hello, fellow modelers!

Just wanted to share with you my latest project Bismarck II. This is a deep conversion of Kangnam's Bismarck kit in scale 1/400. A lot of leftovers from other projects were used, as well as scratch built parts. Main inspiration for the project was Iron Sky movie and of course classical space battleship Yamato. Such camo was picked since main operation area for the ship is Antarctica .

Well done Foxbot!

Its defiantly unique and will get a lot of attention should you decide to show it or enter in a contest.

Would like to get the same views only closer to the detail! Obviously a tremendous effort over months or years.

Good stuff. I'd like to try something similar someday. I have the "donor kit", just have too many other projects to get to before then.

I especially like the cammo scheme.

You are correct, this is a deep deep conversion of stock model of Bismark.

Looks fantastic! I love the flying saucers on the launch pads.

That is really cool! Nice build! But one thing throws it off for me visually and that's the 'engine' pods on the 'wings'. As our typical perspective of intakes is large intake to small exhaust the reversed pods make it a little tough visually to distinguish fore and aft... Still, superb job...
