32 pieces of 1/100 scale armor
Jon Emery Creedmore, North Carolina
In World War II, the British Eighth Army and German Afrika Corps played a deadly game of chess – as John depicts in a more non-lethal way with 32 pieces of 1/100 scale armor. The board is 26" x 26". Jon says, “The combinations of vehicles for each set are endless.”

That is a pretty amazing diorama!
You should see if some company would produce this as a chess set!
Great Job!

This truly was a obsession from the start. I thought it would be fun but added up quickly to acquire the 32 pieces. Once I started I had to see it through. The kits are all Flames of War. I chose them because of their weight. All metal and resin with felt bottom oak bases. The map is of Europe 1930s with all text in German.
