Hi team.....Ive been hiding over on the Gen forum, but its been suggested that i drop a couple of pics over here .This project is my first for many years....and was done to manifest an odd idea i had. The kit was the 1/48 Hasagawa F-104C. As Ive mentioned before, this wont work with a lot of things, but i have recived an "order" for a 1/72 EF -111.....and now a 1/24 Tamiya Mk2 Jaguar....interesting.The 104 was the test, the quality is ...well.....dont look to close, nose and canopy framing etc.... but with my renewed zeal for the plastic, and the support that comes from this site....i think Im going to have fun. Thanks again to all..........

Fly57, Looks great and the 1/2 plane idea is a good one. Plus, you can get two models out of one! ![Big Smile [:D]](/emoticons/icon_smile_big.gif) Personally, I like the background you've used. Using the mirrors is a good idea, but with the "opaque" background, the presentation is sort of like one of those aircraft profiles (artwork) in 3-D! ![My 2 cents [2c]](/emoticons/icon_smile_2cents.gif) Again, looks great! Keep up the good work and don't be shy about sharing your future 1/2's with the rest of us! Thanks for sharing. Rich

Marty, I'm sure the forward section would look great. As for props hiding in tubes......well ..... I prefer to call them UnDucted Fans.....props turn...jets suck and blow. Herknut Real men fly props.![Cool [8D]](/emoticons/icon_smile_cool.gif)

Thanks Stephen, Im just about 3/4 way thru 1/2 a Mig 27 (lots of fractions) , but this time the cutting was more accurate and i will get another full display from the remaining bits (some small bits to scratch build) Then i have an EF-111, and a Mk2 Jaguar (car) to do for friends.......strange, its turning into a little industry.....and these guys are prepared to pay me to do it, so maybe not such an odd idea after all. I had to laugh the other day....my brother (an avid collector) gave me a surplus Tamiya 1/48 F-16.....anyway, when he saw what i had done to the 104 (although he liked it) he said he would rescue the F-16 , if i even thought about, putting a saw anywhere near it .![Blush [:I]](/emoticons/icon_smile_blush.gif) Anyway, thanks for looking.....take care Marty
