This build has been shelved for about a year now and i keep getting it out, look at it then put it back and do something else. Well i finally started on it again. Ive detailed the engine compartment and scratched certain details, added cavalier zim and changed the tracks to single link which ive done in two sections so as i can take them off for painting .Ive added PE front fender with damage and also destressed the side trim.
Very nice Andy. What kit is it? Italeri ?
Rob
Cheers men, heres the latest, added PE screens and anti aircraft screens and undercoated in red oxide primer.
Hey Andy, that's really coming along nicely. I was looking at the earlier pics and wondering about the shallow grilles, but with the mesh and the AA armour mounted, it's really a non-issue now.
Been doin some of my pet hate stuff tonight and its taken about an hour and a half just to bend and assemble this little bit, i do find PE hard work.

You have proven that point man times already Andy. Your Trumpeter 38H build is a fine example of your detailed weathering and attention to detail vastly improving the original kit!
This looks great. I love the Zimm!
Thanks Schnobs, Latest additions is more PE followed by some primer, i made the spade and added small chains to the tow hook holders, added the handle and fastners to the cleaning rods tube, fastners to the stowage bins etc. Still have the rear end to sort out and to fabricate new spare track holders to the rear on both sides of the hull.
