Box-art for it, so it must be getting close.

Oooohhhhhh now that's a nice one. It wouldn't qualify for #100 though as I've already committed to it being something in the stash and not a new acquisition. With the way DML kit prices are at new release, I'm expecting to wait a good while before I acquire this one.

Ooooo, that is cool. I think I may have to get that one. Does anyone know how many Panthers were converted for this operation?

Designed to look like an M10 or something similar? During the Battle of the Bulge? How successful was this, and did they have to notify all their Panzerjager troops and tanks not to take out their own Panthers then?

Panther with extra plates mounted on and a new coat of paint to look like a Panther, yes.

But I don't like that boxart..  What's with everything being Olive drab? Willys and US halftrack.. It is a little silly boxart..

Huxy it was designed to look like a M-10 from distance, thus it had to be olive drab. It was part of Skorzeny's plan for disruption and chaos behind the American lines at the start of the BoB, with Germans desquised as Americans, changing road signs and directing traffic the wrong way among other things.

I'm not sure how many were converted: 10-20?
