My first Hasegawa F-4S...The Mig Smoker is done.

This is my first Hasegawa 1/48 F-4 build. After a few Hornets and Tomcats it was a welcome change. It was built OOB.

I must say... that's some beautiful work you've done there! What scale and manufacturer is this kit?

The model is very tidy. Great build quality, good masking and spraying. Canopy looks great. Looks like you dipped it in Future? Weatherings not overdone. Awesome thanks for posting it. One thing I would say is that your exhaust would look a better (IMO) if you used a couple more colours to give more contrast and depth. Like a couple shades of burnt metal or varying tone of the same colour.

Beautiful job. Especially like your subtle weathering. Hate to be critical about such a good-looking model, but the markings are for a Viet Nam era F-4J, not an F-4S. Mark

Johnh, Really nice build . I agree with some of the other comments, the weathering and shading is especially well done. Thanks for the pictures.

one word, fantasic! I've got a Hasegawa 1/48 F-4 in my stash, but mine seems to have raised panel lines - did yours have raised or recessed, from the pics, looks to be recessed, or did you rescribe them? I hope mine comes out at least half as good as yours, really awesome build. cml
