Almost Done....

Here is my latest progress on a couple of my aircraft I'm building.

I got the decals on the 1/72 scale Horten. They were very soft and thin and broke easily, but I managed to get them on without any issues. Now to touch it up and finish this one:

In addition to that, Porco Rosso's plane is now sporting a nice shiny new coat of red:

That's all I have in Aircraft for now. Feel free to check out my other Threads in Armor and Helicopters for more of my work.

Thanks for looking and comments are welcome.

Re: Almost Done....

Thanks Frank! Glad you like them.

Pioneer2 makes the Horten in 1/72 scale. I picked it up in San Diego in Phillip's Hobbies' "Trunk of Shame" for about $2.00. It's an extremely basic kit, very Matchbox in simplicity with no cockpit detail at all. The decals are extremely thin and delicate. It took all of 5 minutes to assemble! Still, it does build up into a nice aircraft. I'm happy with it.

Thanks again for the great comments!

Love the Porco Rosso plane, glad to see another animie fan!! I just would like to know if I could get a kit from the movie Royal Space Force, as the planes in that were unique to say the least!!!

Well, I certainly love the Porco Rosso movie! Thanks for the compliment!

As for the otherplanes from Royal Space Force, I cannpt be sure. However, I did see some models of some fictional aircraft from an anime movie which might have been Royal Space Force at Jim's shop. They were done by Finemolds which I believe is a Japanese compan. You may try looking them up.

Thanks Dirk. The Porco Rosso plane is a fictitious Savoia S.21F seaplane used by a flying pig in an anime movie of the same name. It is a pretty cool miovie and I like that I was able to build the plane from it.

Thanks for the compliment on theHorten. I hope to be posting completed pics of that soon.
