Greedy, easiest way would be to do a google search for M1A2 Images. But out of the Top of my hat I would say 3-Color NATO and desert camo would be the most common.

If you are building it as an M1A2 and representing a vehicle used in Iraq, it will be CARC Tan  (FS 33531) overall. There are very few (if any) M1A2's in anything other than overall Tan. I believe there were a small number of development and training vehicles with multi-colour camouflage.

If you are building it as an M1A1, it may be in 3-tone NATO camouflage or overall CARC Tan.

The official patterns for the 3-tone camo can be found here:

There was an early demo tank painted in a sand and green scheme. It belonged to the old 194th Armor Brigade (they Armor Center's slave brigade at the time). Other than that, they came in overall sand or 3-color NATO scheme (US Armor Center training tanks).

Yeah i have found a few camo schemes for it. But cant think of which one to do it in. The tank is just about finnished. I have built alot of scratch built parts for it too and added a full metal barrel. All i need is some aftermarket workable metal tracks lol. ill try post pics soon.

I'm not sure if there are workable metal tracks, but certainly AFV Club makes a set of "workable" styrene indi tracks.

we had a few photos at work of an M1 that was painted in a winter camo pattern of an off white and charcoal grey.

Though I do believe there were some M1A1's that were 3 color NATO camo on parts of the turret with overall sand color on the lower hull (probably Marine or Army M1A1's). I do believe the M1A2 in Iraq only came in sand color as they were newer vehicles.

Though I wonder how a M1A2 serving in Korea during the winter would be camoflaged?

Wouldn't a water soluable white wash be better than off white?
