Finally!

Tamiya has finally re-released the LRDG again in 1/35th! This time it's got a 20mm cannon in tow. I bought one yesterday, and will be hunting another.

Re: Finally!
If the kit has the same tires as originally isued, get some resin replacement ones... they split! otherwise it is a great kit! I saw that someone just came out with a nice four man resin crew for it too.

the tires are correct, but are rubber. Who makes resin ones? And where do you get the figure set?

Re: Finally!

I used a set of tires made by Hussar to replace mine after they split.

Here is the upcoming figure set made by New World miniatures. Don't know who carries this line.

Both of those crews in your link are first rate, especially the LRDG, Thanks for the link.

Re: Finally!

well I went back over to the LHS, and asked them if they had another kit in the back room; which of course they didn't! So I told him I'd take the next one he gets in, just incase I like building this one (which I already know I will). Been trying to find a source for the figures as well as the tires, and so far it's zilch. Going to run a post on another site to see if anybody else might have seen them for sale. Also looking for two complete sets for a couple Blitz trucks I've been slowly gathering parts for (radio truck and the onsite maintence truck). Then to maters even worse I see a 1/48th scale fuel truck built on the Blitz chassis!
