Destroyed Pz IV Ausf F2 on Sd.Ah. 116

scratchmod 07-02-2009, 10:08 PM

I can't remember if I posted this project here before, it's been a few months since this was on the workbench. I got motivated to work on this after seeing Bill's F2 again, man can he motivate or what.

Well here are a few pics of where I left off on the F2.

Here is the Trailer.

I spent a couple of hours on the tank today but didn't take any pics yet, I'll post some soon.

Steve, Bill, Disaster and Edmund thanks guys. I did search here for my first post but didn't find it so I thought I hadn't posted this project here.

I'll be using some resin interior parts from Verlinden. These are not as good as the CMK resin interior but for this model it's usable. I won't be blowing this one to pieces as with the Ausf E, just some damage to the interior and a bit to the exterior on the drivers side. I started on the turret yesterday and will post some pics as it progresses.

Stay tuned kiddies

Hey Brother don't forget to capture the step by step process of modeling the battle damage that is just as valuable to us as the final result!  I can't wait fo this one I am hitting my refresh button now to see if you have posted anything new!

Happy 4th to you all. Here are a few pics of the turret. I used some of the Verlinden parts to liven up the turret, most of which will not be seen once it's finished. The turret floor still needs a lot of details added. I won't be goeing too crazy with the details, just what will be seen through the open hatches.

I'll be sure to post progress pics for you Edmund, but I'm not much of a writer so if there are any questions or comments please let me know.

I'll try to squeeze in some time later today and get the turret wired and some work on the floor.

Happy 4th to you Brother!

Hey I am not much of a modeler so you can stretch yourself with a little more writing!  You have too much talent not to share it man.

No worries I will ask questions believe me!  Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]
