The number I heard was 10 Ausf G Panthers were used.

Panther with extra plates mounted on and a new coat of paint to look like a Panther, yes. But I don't like that boxart.. What's with everything being Olive drab? Willys and US halftrack.. It is a little silly boxart..

Huxy it was designed to look like a M-10 from distance, thus it had to be olive drab. It was part of Skorzeny's plan for disruption and chaos behind the American lines at the start of the BoB, with Germans desquised as Americans, changing road signs and directing traffic the wrong way among other things. I'm not sure how many were converted: 10-20?
