Happy Fourth!
In 1996 I was working in Bolivia. The US Embassy had a big 4th of July party. It cracked me up to see a huge cake on the desert table from the British Embassy. It said "Happy Birthday USA! Love, Mum."
ygmodeler4-
I see you are in Fredericksburg- is that the one in Texas?

Happy Fourth to all Americans out there, near or far!
Nice grouping Josiah, what distance were you shooting that?
And here is a nice 4th of July (somewhat) story... During an exchange program with an English Army unit, a US officer is shown into the hosting Regiment's room where items from its' history are kept on display... one of the English officers while showing his guest around point to a set of colors captured in battle and tells him, "and those were captured in 1775 at Breed's Hill, what you Americans mistakenly call Bunker Hill. As you can see, we still have the colors." The US officer, without missing a beat, non chalantly replies, "We still have the hill."
Everybody enjoy!
HAPPY independance day to all of you.

Here's the target for the 30-06 at 25 yds with some .243's on it as well. Last time I shot my 30-06 was in December right after I got it for Christmas, and we tried sighting it in at 100 yds but I couldn't get a group, so today we tried at 25 yds so I could practice getting groups with my rifle. The .22 I've been shooting at my friends house when we hunt for groundhogs and rabid raccoons and such, looks like I may need to click the elevation down a little bit though.Josiah
