Boeing 737-200
Can some one tell me why you can't  find a modle of a 737-200 at a decent price I have been looking on  ebay and most go for 20 bucks or more for a plane that will fit in you hand There are a lot of decals for this modle but very few you can afford?????? Sorry in 1/144 scale

Re: Boeing 737-200

Hi urich,

Mainly because the old Airfix 737-200 is the only 1/144 game in town, and given it's undying popularity, demand keeps the kit prices high.     It cleans up into a pretty nice 732 "Standard" version using only sandpaper and contour putty; here's one I did a couple years ago...

Ebay is still the best source for these, unless you can find one in somebody's stash they are parting out.   Good luck! Smile [:)]

Take care,

Frank

Old Hooker said it well. You gotta pay for something that isn't currently available or very popular.

Say are you on the island now? How goes the beach combing there these days? Find any glass balls from fishing nets?

Its not the workbench that makes the model, it is the modeler at the workbench.

Re: Boeing 737-200

Thanks both Frank and Hawkeye  I still wish someone would make a 732 It is a very popular aircraft I have decals for about 10-15 of them and at current prices it will be a long time before they get built

 Frank very nice build

Hawkeye on the rock for 2 more weeks them home No glass balls they more rare than a 732 at a cheap price
