Neet idea..... I only have one kit that might work but I'm not shure the AFV club "Achilles mark 2c" (but if I make it I would put it in Canadian markings) the Achilles is am M10 Wolverine with a british 17 pound gun..... soooo would one in Canadian markings work in this GB??

Smile [:)]

Stickman you gave me a good brain scratcher, and here's what I found: "Initially seeing much action in France and Italy under the control of British armed forces, the Wolverines (Achilles when in the British inventory) were upgraded to use the British 17-pounder main gun (becoming the Achilles Mk IC).It was used by the British, Canadian and Polish armies in Italy and North-West Europe." So..........because the British got the Wolverine through the Lend-Lease Act, and then they upgraded it to the Achilles. With the Canadians then getting some from the British, to use in the fighting. That means you're Achilles in Canadian markings is in!Smile [:)]

Swwwweeeeeeeeeeeet

Smile [:)]

Just wondering....what scale is your Achilles? Question [?] I'm assuming 1/35.

Yep 1/35

I came up with this, as the armor badge. Comments and opinions, are welcome.Smile [:)] This will probably end up being the official armor badge.

If you're talkin' about the B339 Brewster Buffalo, then YES, it would be okay in British markings. Just let me know if you'll be signing up for this GB with that build. Cool [8D]

I'm in.

Not sure with what though... Probably an old stand by, like a Sherman, or something like that.  We shall see what x-mas brings.

I'll allow an M4A4 Sherman w/60lb. rockets, because the M4A4 Sherman was a lend-lease vehicle.Smile [:)] So give me an update when you decide what vehicle you'll be building.

Re: Lend-Lease GB (1/1/09 to 7/1/09)

Can we start now, or do we have to wait till jan of next year?

If we can start now (because Im REALLY ANXIOUS) Ill sign up doing a Academy M3 Grant.

(just a Q, since the grant was a british mod on the american design, can it be anything british (british canadian etc) or does just non american)

I'll be in on this one but I'm not sure what with yet. something aircraft for sure though. adding to the list I am pretty sure the Russians were supplied with some de Havilland Mosquito's.

All the best.

Greg

I looked into to it, and found "the British turned over more than 100 Mosquitoes to the USAAF under Reverse Lend-Lease." So this was a lend-lease aircraft. Thanks letting me know about the de Havilland Mosquito's.Smile [:)]

Sorry, you gotta wait untill January 1st. However, do you still want to be signed up for this GB?

I think I understood your question, so yes, if it's a british/canadian modification on a Lend-Lease vehicle, then it would be more then likely acceptable for this GB.
