This may seem like a dumb question but, Bill, do you like DML kits? ![Wink [;)]](/emoticons/icon_smile_wink.gif) All joking aside, that is a good list for sure. There are a few(that means a lot) of interesting kits that I'm sure would make a memorable #100. Erik

I know what kit I'd like to see you build, Bill. Probably something you never even thought of doing. How about a M1 Abrams??

YIKES! My laptop crashed while it was downloading your inventory list! I remember reading somewhere in the forums that you are a big fan of Pzkpfw III... because building your 100th model will be very special. You should make it into your favorite tank and it has to be loaded with all AM kits available in the market. LOL Maybe you can list all of your Pzkpfw III kits and let us vote as I see you have plenty... Sorry to say this... I will be following your forums like a stalker for next few months! ![Big Smile [:D]](/emoticons/icon_smile_big.gif)

Andy,, My list is actually pretty modest by comparison to some...I know there are many out there with kits numbering in the hundreds and, sometimes, thousands! The Pz III family is indeed one of my favorites right behind the 38t family. Virtually all of the kits on the list have accompanying AM stuff already on hand...I probably would not go out and buy additional for most of them as their key areas have already been addressed. I'm not a fan of adding AM just to have it (and I know that's not what you meant by your suggestion! ), I only use it if I think it will add value to the build and/or address a glaring inaccuracy. The Pz III family kits in the stash right now are: | Stug III C w/ 7.5cm L/48 | | Pzkpfw III Ausf H Tauchpanzer | | Pzkpfw III Ausf G "Afrika Korps" | | Pzbeobwg. III Ausf H Sdkfz 143 | | Pzkpfw III Ausf H | | StuG III Ausf F (StuK 40 L/48) Ostketten | | Pzbflswg III Ausf K Sdkfz 267 |
| StuG III Ausf G Early "Smart Kit" |
| Pzkpfw III J 2-in-1 Smart Kit |
| StuG III G w/ Deep Wading Muffler |
| StuG III Ausf B Sdkfz 142 |

I see you have the Panzer IV Ausf D 3in1 kit on the list of unbuilt kits. but not the Panzer IV Ausf D upgunned so why not do the upgunned version as #100. wbill76 wrote: | | Rob, I had to reconstruct the list using kit instructions (I save all the instructions from completed kits just like I do the spare parts) and photo dates since I started taking pics. I also have all the built kits still on hand, so that helped cross-check too. For the curious, here's the current inventory list. I have a separate list (won't post it here) of the AM stuff that I also have on hand to go with the different kits. Hmm, I think the Befehlswagen III K would be a cool subject to model. Is that the one with the dummy gun? Erik

Maybe it's just me, but the long barreled STUG III's make me warm and fuzzy inside.

#100 will definitely be one that's already in the stash. I've heard the horror stories about the mish-mashed up-gunned Pz IV D kit having all kinds of issues due to the combination of "Super" kit and "Smart Kit" parts so am not looking to add that one to the stash anytime soon. Thanks for the suggestion though Mikey! ![Wink [;)]](/emoticons/icon_smile_wink.gif) Geist wrote: | | Hmm, I think the Befehlswagen III K would be a cool subject to model. Erik, that one actually has a fully functional 5.0cm gun in the turret. It is combined with a Pz IV turret in order to have the room for it and all the radio gear. Definitely a stranger hybrid in that regard. Definitely has potential, especially since I recently did the III-M that is essentially the same kit in the Imperial Series without the K-mods. Josiah, Edmund, definitely always have a soft spot for the StuGs! The short-barrel ones are actually my favorites, there's just something about that sleek, swept-back look they have that reminds me of the lines of a sports car.

I think that the King Tiger Ardennes 1944 would be a cool subject for you to model! What ever it is, I am looking forward to seeing it finished, Jim.
