It might be, ill have to research that, hans, i trien to look last night but i couldnt find my medic another hand and didnt want to sacrifice another figure thanks for the tips ill look up medics Edit, the cross is slightly too big and i think ill just take the one off the helmet and leave the armband because i did some reasearch and saw only on photo with a cross on the helmet

ok guys i did manage to find a spare hand and put it on there and i fixed his helmet so now i think he is a pretty accurate representation of a medic

hers what ive been doing today go the base painted with three shades of brown, woodland scenics turf and bushes applied, some roots to represent weeks and i have the base coat for the bricks laid on there

Looks good so far, just make sure that you vary the grass and foliage color a little bit, also, I do not know if you were already planning on this but you should also do the same thing to the rocks? I am doing the same kind of bridge thing with my Normandy diorama, ( just I am building the whole bridge because it is in 1/72 scale ). I would also suggest looking over this post for ground working ideas, it has helped me a lot! http://cs.finescale.com/forums/1/1007349/ShowPost.aspx#1007349 it is 1/72 but the same rules apply. Again, great work, your figure painting is way better than mine, Jim!

thanks jim, yah thats just my base color on the bricks, hopefully i can vary the color of the grass, ive only got one color ill try to find more

Ok i found a denser turf and tried to vary the bricks, the dark ones arre almost too dark but here it is i think its pretty good for a first time deal

Looking better with every update!, I do not think that the dark bricks are to dark, but maybe you might want to add some brown in there? just my two cents.. Nice job on the grass, Jim.

I suppose like a Raw Umber shade type thing? There is a picture of what I mean on the link I gave you. It is on the first page about half way down the first post. Hope that helps, Jim.
