Jeff and Sam are spot on ... look at how it's knifing through a big swell and the scuppers are flowing in unison. And the subtle touches of white here and there to simulate all kinds of runoff ... angled and planned to look like it's all flowing together and matched to contours of the hull. This isn't a build ... it's a sculpture ... a work of fine art in three dimensions..

Thanks guys!
I'll try to make some explanations on wave making later
BTW Grauwolf described the water making method wich is pritty close to what I've done ![Wink [;)]](/FSM/CS/emoticons/icon_smile_wink.gif) It's here:
http://www.finescale.com/fsm/community/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=46999
I also used Realistic Water stuff from Woodland scenics. Highly recommended!
Here some more pics if you interested:

Hey Andy !!
Thanks for the info re. "Tipparary". That is a "must have"
for me. BTW,certainly not "off topic". "Music to model by"
is an essential part of the hobby experience. I can look
at some of my completed work & be reminded of what
artists / songs featured in the construction.
Maybe someone can start a thread re. music
& modeling & we can see where it goes...
Mike

OHHHH .... MY .... DOG! THAT IS THE BEST ROUGH WATER I HAVE EVER SEEN MODELLED!
Andy! As soon as you have that bit on water-creation, I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO SEE! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!
Write me, or what ever, anything anything anything! I have a project and I really want the exact look of water that you've replicated for it!
I am researching to create a diorama similar to this:

Agree 100%.
So whatever happened to the 'how to make realistic water' article?
Perhaps we ought to start a campaign for one!
I've just tried clicking on the link 'gruanwulf' and all I get is the usual '404 error'
Come on - let's have an update soon please..........

WOW WOW WOW. Can I repeat that?
I think the comment on more 'wet' also applies to the sub itself.
How did you do the white water streams coming out each side of the hull?
