Look at the Rommelkiste on the back of the Panzer III. It is related.

The Panzer III's Rommelkiste has a special use too, directly related to the Kettenkrad's.

Ok after study this for almost an hour and take apart the picture in photoshop... To thing stand out... the military personnel look russian not german.. and the markng on the rommelkiste look like a bird or plane at least one does..... So my guess is it is Kettenkad modified by the Russians to move old German vehicles into place to be used for TARGET PRACTICE!!!! ![Big Smile [:D]](/emoticons/icon_smile_big.gif) My best guess...

Boy....this is tougher than I thought it would be. ![Wink [;)]](/emoticons/icon_smile_wink.gif) OK, the specially modified Panzer III would normally be used in conjunction with a different vehicle, but in this case it is used with a specially modified Kettenkrad. Which, BTW, the Kettenkrad was poorly suited for this role and was soon dropped from this task. And no, those are actually German soldiers.

The Pz. III is a Flammpanzer, the Kettenrad towed the "fuel" or ammo if you will for the flamethrower.

Hermes got it! ![Party [party]](/emoticons/icon_smile_party.gif) Yes, it's a remote controlled demolitions vehicle, similar to the Borgward B IV. Didn't work too well on bumpy terrain. That's how they got the nickname "Springer" for these type of machines, they jumped around a lot! The tactical symbol is that of a mine clearing company. Thanks for the kudos, M1 A1 A2 Tanker. Our house is literally awash in books, as my wife is a book wholesaler. She has probably 4 or 5 times as many books as I do, and I have a lot of books! There are several thousand books within these walls. When I kick the bucket, you guys will be fighting over my library on E-Bay. ![Wink [;)]](/emoticons/icon_smile_wink.gif)

No and no. You get one clue: it is a WWII vehicle and it is Axis. (well, I guess that was two)

Good lord, that thing has HORNS!!!! I don't know what it is, but the tracks are screaming "Look at me, I'm Japanese!" Some kind of Japanses command vehicle, I guess? EDIT - NO WAIT...Those horns are mine scooper thingies! It's a Japanese mineclearing vehicle, or engineer/pioneer vehicle. Yeah? Huh? Huh?

For some strange reason, I'd seen that beast before. ![Laugh [(-D]](/emoticons/icon_smile_newlaugh.gif) OK, I'm going to post this, but I won't be able to check back until this evening, I've got a little road trip to do today. I'm leaving in about an hour. What is a Panther's final drive reduction ratio?
