Oh, stink. I though it would be harder than that. Nothing gets past you, does it? Bow [bow]

You're up...

...wow...that is one evil looking vehicle ...I think I already know the answer to this, but is there a kit of this? I would be interested in seeing more pics if you have a source...I believe the chassis is from a production model so that would probably be available; maybe could scratch the rest...???

Not a Sci Fi fan/wargamer myself, but man, that beast reminds of some of those demonic warhammer 40k Chaos Space MArine tanks.  http://us.games-workshop.com/games/40k/chaosspacemarines/catalog/CSM_rhino.htm

Re: Armor trivia
...yeah, that would be a cool scratchbuilt topic...the chassis is a standard model 97, so there is a good starting point...

Thanks, I checked it out...unfortunately, there aren't any better pics than the one posted...too bad, because I thought it would be an AWESOME scratchbuilt project, and the chassis is based on the available type 97 tank...

Re: Armor trivia

OK....that one must be too obscure.....1:8.4 is the correct answer.

How about a bit easier question? How many rounds of 5cm ammo were carried in a SdKfz. 234/2 Puma?

Re: Armor trivia
Manstein, about the Japanese SS-ki - There are some more pictures of the flamthrower variant here:

http://www.lonesentry.com/articles/jp_fttank/index.html

Those might be a little better quality and slightly more helpful...I'd like to build that vehicle too, someday...do I see a Japanese armor GB coming?Smile [:)]

The 713th Flame Throwing Tank Battalion.   According to the 11th armored division history page they saw action in the Pacific and went to Korea after japan surrendered.

I believe it's a "Panzer Selbstfahrlafette II auf Fahrgestell m Zugkraftwagen 5t"     That one has been converted as a armored CP for V-2 launching.
