	Yep. It's coming along nicely. One thing you might want to attend to are the return rollers. You've painted them blackish -- I guess because you're assuming they were rubber tires. In reality they were all metal -- and should be painted like the idler wheel (worn metal sides, some rust) . Hope this helps Roy Chow AMPS 1st Vice President http://www.amps-armor.org

	Figure freak, HVH, ScratchMod and WBill- I appreciate the comments and for looking in. I'm happy I didn't mess the tracks up and they came out as well as they did. HVH I do have a little dio planned for this one. Redleg and T26e4-Thanks for the tips. T26 I looked at my references and it was hard to tell whether the return rollers were rubber or steel so I did go for the rubber look. Darn B&W photos! Should be an easy fix though. Redleg, I'm assuming the lanyard is attached to the breech block, Is that correct? Can you be more specific on it's location? Well, all that's left are the tools, handles and other small fixtures, final weathering and a dullcoat. The firing lock is on the back of the breech block (side where the handle is)

The open sections on the block is where the "handle" or firing lock is normally. The lanyard is connected to that handle.

	Redleg and HVH- Once again guys you've come through. The pics and diagrams are very helpful and duly appreciated. Vit13-Thanks for checking in. I've never built the Italeri kit anyone know how it compares with the Academy offering. 	Couldn't tell youif anything is wrong or not on the model... but i can tell you it looks really nice and I almost feel the need to put my fingers in my ears when you the string that makes gun go boom. Marc

	Looking GREAT! It was fun following your process. I have the exact same kit in the stash and now I am tempted to build it as soon as I am done with one I am working on (M24 Chaffee). I am very slow builder... I just wanted to let you know that I have bookmarked your forum because I have learned a great deal from this. Thanks for sharing your process with us! Andy

	Wing-nut- Thanks for checking in! Appreciate the kind comments. Deafpanzer- Never thought of my builds as a teaching device. Always thought of myself as to much of a novice at this, but perhaps I've gotten farther in my build qualities than I let myself believe. I'm glad that this has inspired you to get yours going (once your done with the Chaffee). 	Okay, I'm in the home stretch. Just a few more things to do and fix and it will be finished. I figure I'm about 98% done. I know I still need to attach the pantel, lanyard, M2 and accessories. Final weathering will be done when I add it to the base. (if you like you can follow that up in the dio forums, coming soon.) Still have to fix the return rollers as T26 mentioned. 	Very nice....since we are counting rivits, the ammo fibers (black canisters) are cardboard tubes with thin metal caps (top flat section). When they are painted, the cardboard is flat black while the metal caps are a semi gloss....just one of those anal artillery details Glad to see you are moving along nicely!! Rounds Complete!! 	Wbill-Thanks for looking in. I don't mind working up the dio over here as long as other people are okay with it. Keeps me from having to post twice. Redleg- Hold your fire, I don't know if I'm up to counting rivets yet. Just trying to improve on my accuracy with my models. Appreciate the heads up on the cannister ends though, I'll go back and fix them. Just have to find some semi-gloss paint. 	Very nice, I like the well painted rifles on the rack and the mud o the front. Been awhile since I've been here but computer hasn't allowed me to post photos, which is why I haven't updated on my builds. Working on: Finishing SU-85 Dio (1/35), German mine roller (1/35) Revell's Voodoo (1/48) And Tamiya F-15 (1/48)

	Terry- Thanks for looking in. This is my third US armor build and 2nd artillery piece, so I'm learning (or making it up) as I go along. Although it would not be this good if not for the help I recieved here. Still doing some small detail work, it seems I keep finding things to do on this model.
