Re: P-39 Airacobra Group Build
Well i am also building the Eduard kit so it has almost everything you need. I am adding Moskit Exaust (I highly recomend moskit by the way). Probably markings from the kit, green with white tail wing edges, looks just like our group build badge actually. Mine will have my wifes name on it though, as all my builds do. Unless i am building a specific plane in history.

Re: P-39 Airacobra Group Build
FWIW, I just bought a Fonderie Miniatures 6008 P-63C Kingcobra kit, which is a reissue of the Hi-Tech kit. The FM release does include two vacuum form canopies. I believe per reviews on modelingmadness, that the Hi-Tech release only included one canopy. Otherwise the same as far as I know, but also with decals for a U.S. aircraft. Just posting in case your deciding which Airacobra/Kingcobra to buy.

Re: P-39 Airacobra Group Build
NACA131, out of curiosity, just went over and read a couple of reviews of the FM/Hi-tech P-63.  Sounds like you've got your work cut out for you!  Rarely see P-63s complete, though, so look forward to seeing it done.

Beautiful work.

That's one of those builds that can serve to both frustrate you about your own skills and inspire you to work harder.

Darn my own skills.

Must work harder!

(Take note of the very detailed pictures he provides of the build. It's like a modeling master class. Amazing.)

So who is going to be ready to start on Jan 1?  Secret Santa 1st... then this one for me.  Depending on the SSGB kit I may go for the double build.

Re: P-39 Airacobra Group Build

Assuming I can finish the Fw190D-11 on the bench, Jan 1 I will be tearing the cover off the AM P-39Q. I'm on schedule so far, but any more of my self-inflicted goofs and I'll be pushing it!!!
