How about in the case of a tie, we give the next question to He Who Has the Fewest Posts. Unless we don't care to make it that formal. Those A/C guys are all about formality, and zooming around at high speed looking cool, while we're stuck down here with the grunts.

The T55 had a larger V255 V12 water cooled diesel engine and also a new turret without the loader's cupola or the roff-top ventilator dome. It also mounted a infrared gunners searchlight above the main gun but this was also retrofitted to the T-54's.

My friend Roosterpolo has a completed T-55 on the shelf next to a King Tiger, both in 1/35th ... I was amazed at how much smaller the Russian medium tank is than the German heavy -- suppose I shouldn't be, given the classification difference, but it surprised me nonetheless!

Hey there..

I don't think "duckbill" was ever a name for the M10, it was a description of the late production turrent with the counterweight that looked like a ducks bill. At least that is the only context that I have ever come across the word 'duckbill' in relation to the M10.
