I'm mighty tempted, buddy. It's either gonna be that, an Se.5, or a Pfalz D.III .... not sure yet, but I'll let ya know soon. Wink [;)]

They are optional parts the tails and extra ailerons are for the F.I  types.  The all plastic Spandaus are for people don't want to work with PE.  By the way.  If there are such people  - that have these but don't want to use them.  May I suggest the PE orphanage at my favorite charity.  "Ma' dam Consumpta's Bar and Grill and Photoetch Emporium."  I just happen to be the Overseer and comptroller.  I will guarantee that each orphaned fret will receive a warm bed and hot meal.  Hello,

I recieved my Roden DVII yesterday. It looks like a clean kit. I've been studying the lozenge camo pattern. There are light and dark 4 pattern decals included in the kit. Looks like there might be enough to attempt Udet's "Lo!".

 Best Regards,

Sign - Ditto [#ditto] that!  I was at the Wisconsin Veteran's Museum today, and they had a beautiful replica of a Sopwith Camel there hanging from the ceiling.  I must admit, now I have to get one of those for myself! Big Smile [:D]

Then you are going to love this.  Eduard just released their Sopwith F.1 Weekend kit.  I am reviewing this over on Aeroscale as well as the Fokker Dr.I Dual Combo kit.

An extension to the end of the year you say?Whistling [:-^]  Well, being that I loaded up on some deals on WWI planes at the IPMS Nationals, perhaps I will try my hand at an additional build for this group.  Let me give this some thought as I have a weekend edition kit, an Albatros triplane, and the von Richthofen brothers kit all begging for my attention.  Of course, there are many others on the shelf that have been collecting dust far longer, and should have some seniority.  So many kits, so little time. The chin pan is installed. But needs a bit more filling at one edge.

While this was done a couple of weeks ago I thought to reference the removal of the oil filler access as this was a feature usually associated with the Hispano Suiza motor. This version is of course the Wolseley Viper.  The oil filler was relocated on production models.

Though most experimental versions including the first Viper installations did have the diamond shaped access.  Even later in the war the airframes retained  for experiments in exhaust, radiator and engine modifications were the early production SE 5a airframes.

Thanks gents! Continuing with the guns.  First the Lewis gun .303 & Modified Foster Mount.  Next the Vickers .303  Note the DML PE gun Jacket roller fits the 1/32 Pop Vickers perfectly at the thicker end.
