1/6th Scale M10 Tank Destroyer
Posted by armourguy on Friday, March 7, 2008 7:42 PM

Hi Guys, I recently finished my 1/6th scale M10 tank Destroyer. The model itself started out as a plastic rotomolded hull from http://www.plasticpanzers.8k.com/ . The model went through an extensive detailing and construction process which involved creating the tanks interior, and most of the tanks exterior from scratch. All of the parts that I created for the model can be seen on my website, and have been added to my catalog http://www.eastcoastarmory.com/ustankparts.htm .

You can see more images of the model including it's construction via the following link.

Wow, COOL! Amazing work, I love the camo and the rust streaks aswell. Is it R/C or static? either way I love it!

Awesome stuff!  Find someone at a model show with the 1/35 Dora railway gun and RUN IT OVER!  LOL

really though: have you ever thought of entering it in model contests?  It'd be great to show around to folks.

One thing you might change: the upper right tail light lens was black and not red.  Only the upper left oval tail lamp was red.

Thanks guys, Because of the interior details the model is static; the model does have a functional VVSS Spring Suspension.

Hi Roy, There are few model shows up in my neck of the woods. But I plan on attending a model show in new Jersey with the M10, and my T-28 super heavy tank.

Here are some size comparison images. with an 1/35th scale AFV club M10, and a Tamiya 1/16th scale Tiger I
