Paint removal

Hi All

I know that the topic of paint removal has been thrashed to death in numerous postings, but my query is a slight variation on the theme.

Castrol super cleaner (degreaser) seems to be a quite popular product, simple to use and effective on most, if not all, materials. Unfortunately, here in South Africa, it is not available and needless to say Castrol (South Africa) do not answer emails. I can get hold of a "Castol degreaser" which is a green/blue colour but it is available in two varieties, these being solvent based or water based.

Which do you think would be equivilent to the American product Castrol Super Clean degreaser?

Regards

David

Re: Paint removal

There is no way to know if it is the same without contacting the manufacturer.

Can you get Easy-Off oven cleaner in the yellow can there?

It works well also.
