Memory Lane...

My parents sent over a few pictures of the select cadre of models I built growing up that survived various jostlings, moves, roman candle attacks and other calamities to spend a happy retirement at their home in Arizona. It's been almost three years since I've been out there, and ever since I came back to modeling this summer I've been anxious to see my old builds so I could gauge my progress. Figured I'd share them here in case anyone else wants to do the same. I find the progression of abilities fascinating...it's always fun to see where someone started from.

Apologies in advance for the various states of disrepair. Arizona's lack of humidity apparently plays hell with CA and other adhesives over time.

This first batch was built when I was somewhere between 12-14

And...here's where I'm at these days. Still have a long way to go, but it's amazing what ten years of maturity, the acquisition of some small degree of patience, and the internets can do.
