You have to have an online photo hosting site like Photo Bucket, Flickr or if you have an Amazon account, they provide some online storage. You upload the photo to those sites and then link the URL within your post. Often your ISP provides some photo hosting abilities.

Some sites allow direct linking, meaning the photo will appear within the text of your post. Some photo hosting sites do not, so instead of an embedded photo it displays as a hyperlink that you have to click on to see the picture.

I'll give it a shot, at least I'll explain how I do it. First, start an account at a photo-hosting site; I use Photobucket. Then, upload your pics that you've saved to your computer. After they are uploaded, you'll see the thumbnail pics.

Move your cursor over the pic and you'll see a little gear symbol in the upper-right corner. A drop down menu appears and you choose "get links". Another window will open with several choices for you. You want to click on the one that says "IMG codes". Once you do, it will show "copied". Now, go to the post that you've started here and simply "paste" the code.

I hope that helps!

Also, it is a lot easier to post pics using the "Use rich formatting" option.  This option appears below the composition window, right to the left of the reply button.  Using the option, you will find an icon representing a tiny image.  Clicking on that opens a dialog box asking for the URL.  Just copy and paste the URL from your photo hosting site into the window. It is easier to do this if you have a tabbed browser and have both windows on tabs at the same time so you can easily switch between them.
