Can't get newsletter.
Posted by fox on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 3:02 PM

Tried to see the weekly newsletter and all I get is this message.

Server Error '/' Applications. Runtime Error.

Got this a few times last week too. Is it on my end or yours?

Stay safe.

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.

I see it.  And Stik's IDF TOW is in the newsletter!

Thanks,

John

Oh well, I still don't see anything but the error message.

Guess there's no Tech's on the Tech Assistance.

Stay safe.

Still can't get to see any of the subjects on the newsletter. The first page is the only thing I can see. If I hit "Check it out" or any other of the go to's I still get the error message.

Stay safe.

I had never tried the online newsletter before, but tried to view the latest one.  No luck.  I figured I had to download the Zinio app, but it doesn't seem to work.  It requires my google password but says it is incorrect.  Does google own zinio?

Sorry, don't know anything about Zinio.

I wasn't aware there was a weekly newsletter.  Where in the forum is it accessible, normally?

Baron, it isn't in the Forum. It comes in my e-mail. There are different parts of it that tell you to "click here to see" or "check here" and you go to the site.

Stay safe.

Thanks, Jim, that makes sense, then.  I don't get such an email; I imagine we have to sign up interactively to subscribe to it.

Yup, It's been quite a while but I remember seeing something about it and figuring I didn't want it. Then for some reason I signed up for it. There's some interesting stuff on there. Us old timers might not need some of the info but Aaron keeps it interesting.

Stay safe.

I still cannot get the "Watch it now" or any of the other parts of the Newsleter. All I get is the main page. Can anyone tell me why? I thought that moderators were checking these posts. I asked this question quite a while ago. Whenever I try to go to any of the parts of the newsletter I get an error message. What's up???????????

Stay safe.

Jim,

Please send me screen shots of what you're seeing, because we test each newsletter before it goes out to make sure all the links are working. So far, you're the only complaint I've received about the links not working. You can send your screenshots to me at tkidwell@kalmbach.com

Best,

TK

Still can't "Watch this video", "check it out", "read it now". Still waiting for an answer. Is it on my end or yours?

Jim

PS - I sent you copies of the screen shot on 2 separate occasions to your e-mail address.

I sent the copies Tim wanted over a month ago and still have had no reply.

Got my "Newsletter page" but still can't get to see anything else. Can't see "Watch the Video", "Check them out", or "read it now". Still get the error message.

Would like to know one way or the other if you can help or not. If not, I'll stop trying. I've been trying to get an answer since November 15th of last year.

Jim asked me to delete this message, but for the sake of completion, I'll provide and update and lock it: I did respond to Jim's emails and worked with our team to help him. It turns out that the emails ended up going to an address he doesn't check as frequently as another, so went unseen until recently. Jim has also determined that the challenge he was experiencing is on his end and not ours. We hope that Jim will be able to get the tech issue cleared up soon!
