Yep, Tamiya tape is one of my essential modeling tools.  Great for just about everything!

In extreme cases bare metel foil can be used to cure what ails ya! It will mask a canopy of that nature very well and has many other uses as well!  Tamiya tape seems to be a fav of many here as well! Legend has it that it can cover almost any contour using thinner cut strips. Remember the future dip!  Frank is no light weight and the Tamiya Tape is one of his staples.

You might want to try posing this over in the "Aircraft" forum for better viewing.  SOmeone there might have already built this kit and could possibly offer suggestions.  HTH!

 I am having aproblem painting the canopy of Fine Mold's "Kikka"...tape does not seem to work....FASMASK does not flow into small areas & corners. Any thoughts?
