How do you post pictures without photobucket

The heading pretty much says it. I am not a part of photobucket and I don't know of another way.

Imageshack, Flickr, Picassa Web, or some other image hosting site. You cannot post images without using one of them. Photobucket is the largest, and IMHO the best.

If you just dont want to join photobucket, you could try www.tinypic.com.  Just do a search for image hosting there are lots of choices out there that you can upload and it will give you the link to the picture.  Best though to create an account so you can keep track of your gallery imo.

Seems like tinypic works without an account.

Usually people just get a photobucket account.  The basic ones are free.  There are also a couple other sites, but I'm blanking on the names.  If you have your own website, you can just upload them there and link to here.

Nope! Just like all the other sites, Tinypic needs a user name and password.

Cassibill is quite correct that you can also host your own on your own website!

Here's a website listing over 100 of free hosting sites!

Hmm i did this one on tinypic without account, straight off their homepage.  So not sure, they do have a spot for a UN/PW but looks like you can do some without to me.

Well live and learn! I wonder why they would do that? How do you find the pic again?

Many ISPs provide space for your own web site. You can put your pictures there.

Awhile ago, I posted one pic from my web site okay, by putting before the URL of the pic on my web site, then afterwards. This procedure was given to me by someone on the forum.

However, I tried today to post some more and cannot do it. Is there something else I need to do other than those two brackets?

Don, did you try using the "insert media" button on the toolbar?

Yes, all it did was highlight the URL.

Sorry, I don't have a website to try loading images from. Try contacting the admins to see if they have a solution.
