Jeremy, it used to work that way, or the page number was in the middle of the URL, before the current improvements. But, along with Bill's comment, if you want to save yourself the trouble of typing "?page=" you can skip to any arbitrary page, it will come up, and then change the number.

I have a lot of trouble with the new setup on this. i get stuck a lot in the middle pages of posts and quit out of the whole thing out of frustration because the "first" and "last" notes don't work as links.

Oh well....

Well, it's the only way if you are on a very busy thread and the page you want isn't listed in the line of page numbers at the top and bottom of each thread page.

So this is the only way to jump to a certain page... by typing into the URL? It is very difficult to find older material in some of these group builds with well over a hundred pages. I thought you used to be able to click on the "..." between the page numbers and it would bring up a box that would allow you to choose a page. I tried it earlier with no results... maybe I'm thinking of another website. Hmm

A "jump to page x" option would be a great addition.

The only way that I've come up with is to add "?PageIndex=x" after .aspx in the URL (where x = the page number (0 for first, 1 or second and so on).

So long folks!

First, I would like to say how much I enjoy reading the posts on the forums.  There's a lot of good information out there.and I like going back in the posts to read previous entries.  I was wondering if there is a way to go directly to a page without having to start at "first" or "last", then just skipping two pages at a time to get to where I left off?  It takes me forever to get to where I want to go.  Please advise.  Thanks for the help.

Regards,

Michael B.
