Forum Posting ...

I think we got a mixup of Terminology here.

"Write a new Post " is to  start a new  Thread.

To add a comment, etc to a thread(like a Gb) you need to use "Reply" or "Quick Reply".

You'll see the "Write a new post" option when you go back to the subforum menu (where you see all the topic headings in that forum).

I understand that but where do I find the link to'write a new post' ? ...

I've been told to look for the 'faint green button' in the upper left, but a close examination of the form I see on my screen shows nothing of the kind ...

The "Write a new post" option is for creating a new thread/topic in a given forum. If you are posting to an existing topic, use the "reply" button at the top right, or "quick reply" at the bottom right of any existing post in the thread to which you wish to post.
