New member seeks help with Forum search.

I'm a new member to this outstanding site. I've just re:entered modeling after a long hiatus and was delighted to find you all.

I'm a member of a couple of other forums (machinist and boolit [sic] casting), and know that is good protocol to do an extensive search before charging in with questions that have likely been thoroughly covered, but I don't see a way to search the Forum by subject.

The back issue article search function is first rate, but I was also looking for the adjunctive personal exchange approach which forums supply.

Or am I confused about the FineScale(dot)com search function. Any help along these lines would be gratefully received.
