Seriously?

The odd post in the wrong forum is the exception, not the norm, around here. Give it a few days and the offending post will be off the front page.

Posting questions in the wrong area is similar to shopping for shoes in a grocery store. If you want the questioned answered it helps to ask it in the right place. There are more viewers to those subject specific topic areas than the general house keeping ones.

Now how do I affix a television antenna to my pup tent during a wind storm using a car battery and a sewing needle? Stick out tongueWinkToast

Thanks for the welcome. Sorry we new-bees aren't as perfect as we should. This is the cleaner of the two versions I was going to post. I took a deep breath!!

It's kinda the inherit problem with any forum. People want answer without having to go any further than asking a question.

Or are the newbies and some of the not so newbies not reading the forum before posting questions?

Example the topic of this forum is Community Assistance (aka Forum Help). Now to me that means subjects pertaining to tasks and questions about using the forum, not specific subjects such as aircraft, armour, painting and others that have their very own topic area.

This is an place to post questions about how do I search for, post a picture, get in touch with the moderators and other issues with using the forum...not modeling related topics.

Have I reached the point of being a curmudgeon? Whistling
