                        It shouldn't make any difference.

                        Find the image you want (.jpg or .gif) and save it to your hard drive. Then upload via the profile page. Sometime takes ten minutes for the server to refresh.

                        I am well behind the technology and learning curve in regards to computer use. I would like to set up an avatar but really do not have a clue how to do so. Several attempts have been rewarded with strange looking BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME messages and a Question [?] in my forum avatar space. I am using a MacBook if that has any bearing on the issue. Any help would be much appreciated.
