Where is the button for following a Thread? I've posted on several Threads that I want to follow and cannot find any way to follow them. This needs to be made easier to do. I've looked everywhere for a way to do this.

**Edited.  I miss read what you wanted to do.

There is an option to follow via email along the right hand side bar.  I'll subscribe to this and see if it works when you respond.

Hope it helps.

Scroll down the page and you will see some options on the bottom right. Select favourite this thread and its in your favourites. This can be found top right under your name and avatar.

Like Bish said, however, just because you "Favorite" a thread, does not mean you'll get emails for it. you must select the "Email subscribe to replies to this forum thread" to receive emails as well.

Also, as soon as you post on a thread, you are automatically following it. To go to it you select 'Your Discussions'. But of course if its not been posted on in a while, it will be down the list.

I find the email notification to new threads does not always work with the first response, even with the proper options ticked off in the community settings.   Seems to be, for me anyways, intermittent since the new format was installed.

Actually, I posted on four different threads and never received an E-mail notification that it received a response. After a few days, I'd gone back to the threads to find four or five responses I'd never been notified about. I shall go find something new and use the E-mail notifications button and see if that works.

Thanks for the helpful replies guys!

Well, when I meant you are automatically following it, I just meant in your discussions. I think it depends on your settings as to whether you get e-mail notifications. I turned all mine off as I get enough junk e-mail already and i just go to my discussions to see if there have been any replies.

Depends on your email provider, but some lump all responses from a specific thread as one email - but probably have to set it that way if it's not already at default.

Trying this response in rich format as my first post here was not sent to my email.

Jack

Now that is odd, checked my email and this 2nd post of mine finally get's an email notification.  So yea, try responding to a thread you want to follow by using rich format option - why that is has got me.

It's working.  I've gotten an email for every response here.  Unsubscribing :)
