Has my forum acc. been hacked?

I had an email like that recently too, and have been a forum member  for a dozen years.  I think it's just Finescale trying to get more subscriptions?

One incident I did find odd was a friend request from a new member that had no posts, not even 5 months after the fact.  Their name was Abu Alice, anyone else get this?

No the only friend requests I get are from current members from time to time. Frankly, I'm not sure what friending someone does anyway, except make you look like you're popular if someone looks at your friends list.
