Yes, we're working on it. No, it's not fixed. When we're sure the ability is back up and running, we'll make an announcement.
Thanks.

Keep on modeling!
All the best,
William
Ok understood.
We must test before we say anything is fixed, and we're still working on it.

Handheld. I prefer to get up close and personal on bug hunts.
Yep. It's a bigger bug than we initially thought, and the can of Raid we came with was too small. We've ordered a flamethrower.
As of 2/28 still not working.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Ah! That was the poster's handle! I scanned the signatures before I replied but didn't register his as that acronym. Now I don't know what I saw. I thought you just got tired of replying to people complaining about bugs

the Baron Tim Kidwell MFSOB... Hey! This is a family-friendly forum! Good way to get around the nannyware.

Hey! This is a family-friendly forum!
Good way to get around the nannyware.
I trust that was not the intent seeing as that would go against foundational and long settled Forum rules. My suspicion and hope is that they are initials for a name of story and import.
MFSOB,
The Forum isn't part of an FSM subscription; it's always been free. We are aware that PMs don't work the way they're supposed to at the moment. Last week we prioritized the issues, and, right now, navigation is the most important issue to correct. Once that is fixed, then we'll move on to the next bug. We've hired an outside contractor to help get some extra manpower on the case.
Thanks for your, and everyone's, patience.
FM guys, the PM function STILL isn't working ... not a good feeling for those of us who still subscribe.
Not fixed yet, but know it takes awhile.
Ok thanks for all the replies.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
Tojo72 I can't PM anyone including the moderators either.

Same here.
plasticjunkie My pm feature works only if I’m replying to a previous sent pm but not when trying to contact a different member as a new conversation. I get the white box with the X on the right top corner and nothing else. Anyone having this issue?

Yup. Been having exactly the same issue.

Hi,We had a similar report last week. We looked into it and seems to have cropped up with the security change for the Forum. I have reported it to our dev team as part of the larger effort now underway to solve many of the issues that we've been facing here. As I said in the other thread, these come at an inopportune time here at the end of the year, but my goal is to be able to report fixes sooner rather than later.Tim
I duplicated this now, trying to send you a PM.
I would report this in the Forum Feedback and Error Reporting forum:
https://cs.finescale.com/fsm/feedback_help_and_testing/f/39.aspx
I think that's monitored for reports of technical issues.
