Do you mean you hadn't finished it and it went POOF? I've had that happen. I am a touch typist, but sometimes the fingers get flying and I hit some wierd letter combination that kicks me out of the post editor.

Or do you mean that you can't find the post after you hit submit? If you click on your own user name (the one at the top left of your post above) you can view your public profile. One of the hot links on that page is "view all posts by..." clicking on that will bring up all your posts.

So long folks!

Hi BPG and Sign - Welcome [#welcome] to the forums.

Sometimes the threads get pushed to the next page. Chances are it's here. Errors have happened (sorry David Wink [;)]) but are rare. When you come ito the forum, accross the top of the suject page in red letters are some helping links. The one you want to try is "My Forums" Clicking on that will create a list of every thread you have posted in or created. If it's not there, then it has dissapeared. Try that first. I think you will find it and someone has replied to it.

Take this plastic and model it!

Dissapearing post?
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, December 31, 2006 8:34 PM

Hi... tried to start a new thread last night... filled in a "post  a new message" screen... and my post dissappeared.

Does one have to do something special to start a new thread, or am I missing something here?

Thanks, BG
