I drove up to Portland about a week later to be in a friend's wedding. That's a great picture.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Mike, you look like a true native of the Northwest! Now I’ll try and find a recent action picture of me, nothing as grand as standing on a mountaintop though.

Harold, Little Jimmy, and GM,

The image of me was taken with my camera by a total stranger who happened to be near where I was standing. It was nice of him. I'll post the panorama I made in this reply.

BTW, I've really enjoyed the 3 main places I've lived most of my life .. New York City, southern California, and now Oregon. All different but one must seek out those things which one likes anywhere. I've found lots to like in all three places.  I'm very happy to be right where I am now though.

Hiking and photography are two of my hobbies ... you guys know my other main hobby.

Mike, I promised months ago I would post an action picture of myself, although not as grand as standing on a mountain top. Below is a picture of me with our Tucker last night at the hospital. He has been sick for about three months with cancer and last night we said goodbye to him. He was a wonderful friend and part of our family. I am very sad but find comfort in the words of our Granddaughter; "I'm so sorry about Tucker. He was so happy though and probably didn't even know [how sick he was]. He's gone to the beach more than me! He had a really good mom and dad and he can rest now." Her words are significant because our Granddaughter lost her unborn child a few months ago and this is the first sign we've seen that she is coming out of her depression.
