Introducing myself
Posted by SPIRIT on Saturday, September 6, 2014 4:54 PM
Hello, My name is Johnnie and I work as a transportation analyst for the Regional Planning Agency for the St. Louis area. I am trying to get back into modeling after being out for a long while. I am currently working on a model of the Santa Catarina de Monte Sinai and I trying to determine what type of wood would have been used in its construction. The wood would have been from the region of Kochi, India. If anyone has any information I would appreciate any help you can give. I am currently searching the internet but no results yet. Thanks everyone.

Hi Johnnie, welcome aboard.

You might want to ask that question in the ships forum. There are a lot of guys that know their stuff there. I'm sure someone can point you in the right direction.

Thanks for the welcome.  Sorry to take so long in replying but illness and my work have been eating up a lot of my time.  I managed to narrow my choices down to 4 possibilities, one of which was Teak.
