HELLER MODEL, 1/150 SCALE; LA SIRENE

I'm building Heller's La Sirene. Somewhat complex in that I will attempt to install all the standing and running rigging. As a person who studied Naval Architecture at a Maritime Academy; sailed in the US Navy as a ship's Officer, and in the US Merchant Marine as a ship's Officer,(in heavy seas I might add), I do not see how this model could represent a seagoing vessel. The after superstructure seems top heavy, the "bird cages" at the port and starboard sides of the bow surely would be wiped off the ship by heavy seas, and the bow spirit sail carrying structure looks to weak, and the lower gun deck ports would seem to allow flooding in any sea-way. 0.
