Back in after 20 years
Posted by Raiderdave on Monday, June 22, 2015 9:26 PM
I am back in the plastic model hobby after 20 years of bring away. I am amazed at the wealth of resources available via YouTube and this forum that weren't available 20 years ago. I have a love for model airplanes with weathered Navy/Marine Corp low visibility paint schemes. My first model back is an 1/48 F-4S Phantom, made some errors with regard to decals and scribing, but I now have the mindset of it being a training lesson to learn from. I have the new Kitty Hawk Viper and Venom waiting to be put on the assembly line. Thanks for all your pictures and ideas.

Imagine my shock.  I started up again after almost 40 yrs, 25 of them were out of country so I was out of touch!   I love it!

I think many of us were on hiatus for different reasons, I was as well. You're so right about the wealth of info today. I've found these forums and FSM magazine to be a great help and I'm sure you will too. Best of luck friend!
