Thanks for the warm welcome from everyone!  I'll post some pictures of our work when I have a chance to!  Might be a while as things get very busy this time of year!

Welcome,

There are several RC flyers on here. Glad to have you aboard.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Welcome to the Forums! Glad to have you and your son with us.

You've come to the right place. Lots of the members got here the same way. The members here are very knowledgeable and are always ready to help out with any questions/problems that you might have. Don't be afraid to ask questions. We all had them at one time or another. I still do. I'm learning something new almost every day.

I've been building for 71 of my 77 years. My favs are WWI & WWII planes followed by sailing ships as you can tell by my avatar. But, I also build whatever strikes my fancy at the time, and my wallet says OK Wink.

Good luck to the two of you.  Oh, don't forget to post pics of your builds. We love pics.

Hello,

New to FSM forum.  I built plastic scale kits as a kid a 35+ years ago.  My love is WWI and WWII aircraft - especially biplanes.  Recently got into rc foam planes, and have done some modelling and modifying of those planes.  My 10 year old son has discovered building plastic models.  We fly rc together, and now are enjoying building scale plastic kits as well.  My first kit attempt since I was a teenager was a 1/72 Airfix Bristol Bulldog.  My skills were better when I was actively modeling, but I hope to improve with more practice!

Just wanted to say hello!
