Howdy !

I have seen your work on another forum, awsome stuff !  I like the way you included the actual control pannel of the real brige into the diorama.

Working in a museam ,building diorama's would be my "Dream job" !

Welcome to FSM.

Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

Welcome to FineScale, Peter!  I hope you'll share some photos of the projects you're working on for the museum.

Best regards,

Hello Fine Scale Modellers

Just flew in to say "Hi" and introduce myself.

Started my first model (a diorama) a year ago and still doing it. It has been a fabulous journey. Learning lots of stuff about modelling, and even the term "scratch building", which my current project is. The diorama is a 1/72 scale working lift-span bridge with a boat traversing under it. The display table is 4 x 8 feet.

I am a volunteer working at Ballina Naval & Maritime Museum (NSW, Australia). The diorama is the museum's first interactive display - a new innovation for the museum. I plan to download photographs of the Work In Progress in the Diorama sub-forum. Hoping to download daily updates until they catch up to where I am with the project. Then the updates will occur less frequently.
