                        Cool!  I got to go to the home opener last year, won't make it this year.

                        I used to get my dad Sunday season tickets to reading, and then the past couple of years, we went to the Iron Pigs.  But Pop's getting older and doesn't enjoy going to the ballpark anymore, so we'll watch the games on TV.

                        I'm in Bethlehem, myself.  I belong to the DelVal club, and also to a club we started a couple of years ago, the Lehigh Valley Scale Modelers.  We meet every other Wednesday-our next meeting is tonight-at the Catasauqua Borough Hall, starting at 6:30.

                        We don't have a website, but we have a Facebook group which we use for an online forum.  There are members who live further away, who can't make the meetings but who can participate through the FB group.  Feel free to have a look and join in!  And Hershey's not too far from the Valley, so if you ever have the opportunity, you should come and visit.

                        Do you live in the area, in Philadelphia or in SE PA?  If you do, and if you never heard of the Delaware Valley Scale Modelers, you might be interested in visiting a meeting.  We meet on the first Friday of every month, at Artisans Hall, 8100 Roosevelt Blvd.  Our website is https://www.dvsm.org/index.html, and if you use Facebook, we use a Facebook group as our forum.

                        Yet another middle-aged former model builder returning home.  17 year layoff.  Things sure have changed!  Only built aircraft previously, but have been really inspired by internet modelers to venture into other subjects (cars, ships, Star Wars etc.).  Looking forward to joining the community.
