So after a long hiatus, I think I'm getting close to getting back into the modeling world. My preference is with the relatively modern airliners, Boeing 7XX series, MD-XX and Airbus. Last model I did was an assist to my 15 year old with an F-14 which he unfortunately lost interest in thanks to the gaming world.
At any rate, the juices got flowing again after I acquired a Hasegawa 1/200 747 SCA with shuttle orbiter combo. I've also got several other 1/200 Hasegawa waiting in the wings as well. (pun intended) 
But instead of diving head first in the deep end, I'll be checking out some of the posts to get familiar and learn new things.
