i'm not an experienced or very good modeler, but i enjoy it a lot... wondering if there are other modelers here in Ensenada for possible meetings or starting a club... i'm originally from New England with many years living in northern California/SF Bay area... wife has a new job in this area so we recently moved here from Mexico City... i'm a former soldier (15 years or so) and Silicon Valley businessman (10+ years) and have a lot of varied interests and experiences... looking forward to connecting with the community...

Welcome aboard. I don’t know of any clubs in Ensenada, but there is the Secret Society of Model Builders in San Diego. They have several members in Tijuana. Those guys come up to Southern California AMPS meetings every few months and are good guys.

Here is a link for their club

Welcome to the forum, Randy!

Interesting that you mention that you'd like to get together with other modelers, maybe even start a club.  We started a club here, the Lehigh Valley Scale Modelers, through contacts we made via this forum.  Put out the word, and see what kind of responses you get-you find some others in the area.

I look forward to seeing your builds!

Best regards,

Brad
