Greetings from the Keystone State (USA).
Like most newcomers here, I'm getting back into a hobby that I've enjoyed over the years but never really had the time to do it right. Life has a way of doing that I suppose. The kids are older now and I'm looking forward to honing my skills and having fun.
Being the masochist that I apparently am, and not really remembering just what a 1/72 scale in tanks means (really small parts and lots of frustrations!) I decided to jump back in with the Revell PzKpfw IV Aust. H kit. Turned out OK I guess for the first model in about 10 years, but man, getting older has taken its toll on my fine motor skills. That darn 1/72 scale didn't help either.
Some SERIOUS talent on this board, and I'm certainly not in that league. Probably never will be but I can dream..........and still have a lot of fun while doing so.
Thanks,
John
Welcome aboard OzzyDog! I'm fairy new here myself but, no worries, the talent and knowledge improves with every new kit. Cheers!

Welcome to the Forums John! Glad to have you aboard.
I used to build a lot of 1/72 scale but as I got older and the eyes got bad and the hands started shaking I'm moving up to 1/48 scale planes and 1/35 armor. A lot easier on us old farts.
Sit back and enjoy.
Stay Safe.

Thank you for the welcomes. Hope to see you around the forums!
Hi John!
Hey don't worry about those "Motor Skills" . I am doing the same with planes. I've gone from the usual 1/48 to 1/144. A lot smaller believe me! Welcome to the crowd!

Brad, I'm about 20 miles east of Pittsburgh near Irwin. Been a Pittsburgher my entire life.
Once I work up the courage, I hope to share a build or two.
Welcome aboard.
1/72nd is my preffered scale for aircraft, more choice and takes up les space and it doesn't seem that small to me.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Ah, a Yinzer! Do you ever get together with the Three Rivers IPMS club? I know a guy in that club, Craig Whittaker, nice guy, figure painter. We meet up every year at the MFCA show.
Again, welcome to the forum, and don't be shy to post your work!

Well, I don't have a severe Yinzer accent, but.........
I've not been to any club events anywhere. Hopefully that will change soon.
