I had to quit Facebook. I miss the modeling groups but they were not worth the aggrevation. I used to model as a kid but gave it up 50+ years ago. Then I resumed about a year ago. Is there an end to the ways you can mess up a model? So far I seem to have found at least a dozen per build. I build 1/48 and 1/32 WW2 aircraft.
Welcome to the Forums! Glad to have you with us.
I don't think that every way to mess one up has been found yet and probably never will. Just hang in there. You've come to the right place for help. The members here are very knowledgeable and ready to help you with all problems and questions. You might have to wait sometimes as there are different time zones but you will get answers. Now that we are temporarily on lock-down, there are more of us around.
Relax, enjoy, and most of all Stay Safe.

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.
Hopefully you have found the right place and won't miss that other platform.

Sounds about right to me. Maybe a dozen a bit low by my record.

That's what keeps me humble. Every time I'm convinced I've explored every possible permutation of screwing things up...I manage to 'innovate,' and find a brand-new way to get everything pear-shaped!

Welcome aboard, welcome to the forums.I don’t do any of the “Insta-Chat” or Face-Snap” myself.
its your build, nothing wrong with rivet counting, but it all depends how far you want to take take it,it's a hobby, when it's not fun then it becomes work.
Welcome.
I think that everyone fines new ways of messing up builds everytime we sit at our benches. Nothing new there.
It is the creative ways we find to fix or circumvent our messes up that improves what we do and it is our learning of this that makes our hobby an interesting one as posting about our errors means that someone either has already done that and fixed it and will share their fix or has a creative way that might help you.
If I get through a model with no mistakes, I did something wrong.
